Additionally, accessing the hotel can be tricky as you must manage a roundabout and then make a quick left turn into the driveway, which can be dangerous with oncoming traffic. The King Suite was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent, featuring freshly prepared dishes like bacon and eggs. However, the highway noise from truckers kept me awake, and I encountered some strange noises, possibly from a pet, even though the hotel had a no-pets policy. Accessing the hotel was complicated due to a nearby roundabout and a blind curve when turning into the parking lot.

convenient coffee maker

It was just an excellent fit for a short stayover in Troutville with outstanding value for money. The coffee maker in the room was super convenient for my morning caffeine fix. Make sure to check the breakfast offerings early if you want the good stuff.

Family with children stay mission accomplished

The staff were friendly as hell, and the place was clean, ya know? I appreciated the brown bag breakfast, real lifesaver when you're on the road, didn't have to stop and waste time at some diner.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but I guess it wasn’t a total loss.

would love to come back here some time

The queen room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. A separate wash basin from the bathroom. It had free WiFi, a TV with cable, and comfy seating. The breakfast was solid with good options, including juice cartons for easy takeout. It’s close to I-81, but we didn’t hear the traffic at all.
